The Hsia Lab is based in the UCSF Department of Emergency Medicine and UCSF Philip R. Lee Institute for Health Policy Studies. We conduct health services research examining cost, access, and quality of emergency health care services with the overarching goal of improving health care delivery systems and ensuring equitable access to care for all populations.
